View 3.12 on vSphere/vCenter 4

I was just curious if this design would be possible?

VMware View 3.12 using vCenter 4 to provision Windows XP virtual machines running on a 2 host vSphere cluster?

We currently have View 3.1.2 running on vCenter 2.5 / ESX 3.5, but would like to make the leap to vSphere. The problem is, we use Sun Ray thin clients which are not certified for View 4 yet. I have heard that you can run View 4 with Sun Rays as long as the protocol remains RDP (instead of PCoIP), but that makes me nervous.

Thoughts?

I have tested using View 3.1.2 client connecting on a View 4 Connection Server and nothing has really changed in View 4 with the exception to PCoIP. The backwards compatibility works fine and I haven't seen any major issues.

The connection server should also with on 3.1.2 not unless you plan on using linked cloning.
