I am setting up a new VRTX which will run VDI at a remote site and had a question on setting up the storage
I was planning on creating a RAID 10 with 10x500GB drives with 2 hot spares
I have choices for policies that I am not sure of and just want to follow best practice for VDI since it is write intensive these are the choices I have
Read Policy
default setting: Adaptive Read Ahead
other setting: No Read Ahead
other setting: Read Ahead
Write Policy
default setting: Write Back
other setting: Write Through
other setting: Force Write Back
Disk Cache Policy
default setting: Default
other setting: Enabled
other setting: Disabled
Should I just go with the defaults ?
