Good evening,
We have Horizon view 7.2 deployed and are using our phone system inside of the view desktop. Our users have USB soft phones, to act as a phone utilizing RTAV (not USB redirection), and some issues started presenting themselves. Specifically, a slight delay/lag during the day. We have a few areas we want to look at first, such as the resources on the machine. I was curious, if anyone else is using a voip phone system inside of their view session, and any adjustments they might of made? I was also thinking about looking into QoS, and trying to use either TCP over UDP.
Any feedback would be great!
Thanks,
Mike
Here is some information on the configs used in various tests that may help narrow down the bottleneck: Real-Time Audio-Video (RTAV) for Horizon View | VMware End-User Computing Blog and https://www.vmware.com/content/dam/digitalmarketing/vmware/en/pdf/techpaper/vmware-horizon-6-view-un...
Thanks for your response. I'll check it out
