VMware view connection servers slow

HI All,

We’ve observed inconsistency in data in view horizon console from the connection server USVMwareview1.

The link https://vmware view1/admin takes a lot of time to load and refresh data after logging in.

The data on connecting to horizon console from rest of the connection servers is consistent and loading and refreshing of data is also normal on them.

VMware View version 5.2

Any help on this issues much appreciated

Good Morning VMK2014,

I am encountering the same issue, ended up band-aiding this by creating App's again instead of refreshing the old.

Did you manage to find the cause of this?

Hello,

Did you check the server Load?, was the connection server installed with a lower demand of memory?

If you initially assigned less than 10GB of RAM to your connection server the JVM heap size will be 512 to 1024MB which is not enough for high number of managed virtual desktops.

In that case you will have to remove your connection server, assign more memory and install again the connection server.

From View version 5.3, the JVM Heap size changed automatically when you restart the server.
