VMware Workspace Portal

Hello!

I'm preparing for VCP6-DTM, currently digging the VMware Workspace Portal 2.1 Reviewer's guide - Integration with View.

I've deployed Workspace Portal 2.1 and View 7.0.

When I try integrating one with another I got an error:

Unable to get self-signed certificate from View Connection Server osv-viewcs.osv.local: Unable to get server SSL certificate osv-viewcs.osv.local

I'm using self-signed certificates for View 7.0.

On the integration page one can see the warning:

Desktops are not available in Workspace for servers with untrusted certificates until those certificates are accepted on this page and a sync occurs.

But how to make Workspace portal server accept the cert?

Thanks.

I have a bit advanced in the problem..

According to the article

VMware KB: Unable to accept View connection server SSL Certificate in VMware Workspace Portal

I got an error

Снимок.PNG

but there is not such a file, that is mentioned in the article:

install_directory\VMware\VMware View\Server\sslgateway\conf\locked.properties

only config.properties, settings.properties

I did not find the locked.properties file either. Only config and settings.

As for the results of the command - along the same lines, but slightly different - I get the below message

SSL23_ GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown protocol:s23_clnt.c:601

Were you able to resolve the issue?

Anyone have an idea why we keep getting unknown protocol error?
