VMware View requirements with respect to vSphere and vCenter

Hi Folks, Is it possible to re-use the existing vCenter and vSphere 5.0 for the View deployment.  Can I just replace the vCenter license with the vCenter Desktop license, without re-installing the vCenter? Also can I just replace the vSphere License with the vSphere Desktop license, without re-installing the vSphere?  Thanks

Yes and Yes.

When you input a new vSphere license you will be able to select which license your host uses.

That is exactly what I did when I purchased my vSphere desktop licenses.    You just to have to make sure those things assigned a desktop licnse are only running desktop workloads per the eula.
