Hello again folks,
I've seen this most recent article explaining that Webcams are not supported in View including 5.1.x.
Just wanting to confirm if it would be considered for View 5.2 Horizon?
I do not see mention of it in What's New. That must be a No.

Thanks,

The blogs are correct and it clearly states that voice is not supported with Lync 2010:
"...users will have access to features such as presence, instant messaging, application sharing, online meetings, and sharing whiteboards and PowerPoint presentations. Other features such as VoIP calling are only available when a Lync client is paired with a USB desktop IP Phone"
Lync 2013 will have support for voice and video but only on some client platforms.

I copied the below verbiage from the what's new document. The video chat support intrigues me as that implies a type of webcam support via PCOIP.
Media services for unified communications
expand to include
support for Microsoft Lync 2013 to provide a fully integrated
follow-me desktop and phone. Integration with Microsoft Lync
2013 gives users access to rich communication and collaboration
features, such as presence and instant messaging, as well as
interactive voice and video chat with support using PC over IP
(PCoIP). Horizon View media services already support unified
communications for Avaya, Mitel and Cisco.
I don't think so - check the Technet Article.
Looks like the video handling is entirely client-side.
What about this?
Lync 2013:

Ha, it does say in the microsoft document referenced for Lync 2010 support that video/audio is not supported.

It still sounds like no for Lync 2010, but what about 2013?

Yea, sounds like ones that are part of Microsoft Lync VDI Partner TAP program.
Thanks for the responses!!
