just a quick question: It is possible to run a script located on a linked clone, e.g. C:\script.cmd when deleting a linked clone from view administrator?
Example:
Administrator triggers "delete vm" in view administrator or reduces the number of linked clones in a desktop pool
VM gets powered on, if powered off
VM executes script C:\script.cmd
VM shuts down
VM gets deleted
Background: We need to remove entries from a third party database and it is only possible to remove this entry when a command is executed from the client.
I have looked into VMware View Deletion Scripting but I am not really into it as it is sparsely documentated.
