VMware View Composer high availability

I can't find information on how to cluster or load balance most VMware vCenter and Horizon components except for the Composer in Horizon.   Can anymore lead me to some or is the Composer the only component that cannot be clustered which I find weird since the Delivery Controller in Citrix XenDesktop and Xenapp can be clustered since forever.

There is no native clustering of Composer. The closest thing would be to deploy Cloud Pod Architecture (CPA).

With CPA you would need two or more pods each consisting of the following. You then configure a pool to span two pods, if one is down users will connect to the other.

• vCenter
• ESXi hosts
• Connection Servers
• UAG/Security Servers
• Composer
