Can VMware View Client 4.6 "close" an Windows 7 physical host client device when it's powered on (Thin Client or Desktop running Windows 7)? The desired behaviour is to let user just turn on their Thin Client or Desktop running Windows 7 Starter or another version of Windows and no Windows Desktop appears. The VMware View client connects directly to the broker and then to VM user login screen? The Thin Client or the Dektop user can just have access to View user login not the physical host Windows area?
For XP/XPe installed localy on you thin client you can change default shell from explorer to wswc.exe (View Client). More information about it you can read here: http://blogs.vmware.com/view/2009/02/vmware-view-client-as-a-shell-for-xpe-and-xp-pro-clients.html
I think, this trick with some addition tweaks should work with Win 7.
Also there are some proprietary software, for example: http://www.thinlaunch.com/thin-desktop-client.asp

Hey EGarbuzov!!!
Thank you for your reply my friend.
This solution worked fine here with a Windows 7 Ultimate test VM I have. Now I'm going to try to replicate this one in the Thin Clients (AllInOne PCs) and desktops here.
Thanks again man.
Best regards!!!
