We are working developing a thick client solution by repurposing some of our exisiting workstations as thick clients. We are using the Windows ThinPC OS and the VMware View 5 Client. The way our setup works is to autologon a domain user to the workstation and have the shell changed to powershell script that launches the view client. The problem we are noticing is that when the view client is lauching, it will sit at the screen where it is connecting to our view server for about 3 minutes before a user can login to the client and get a vm. Does anyone know of any tweaks or changes that can be made to speed up this connection to the view server? Thanks.
