VMware View 5.1 Slow Logoff Windows XP (PCoIP)

Hi,

I have a problem with a linked clone XPSP3 pool on View 5.1. Whenever a user logs off, the desktop is taking 1 minute before logging off at which pint the desktop does a refresh. Anyone seen this or have any ideas on cause?

Can't find anything in the release notes that would suggest a fix

This sounds like the default 1 minute user warning and the pool is set to refresh on logoff.  Have you checked your pool settings?  Is this a fresh install or an upgrade?  When I upgraded I was advised by VMWare technical support to go into each of my pools and uncheck, then recheck the boxes.

I'm new to View but I reckon rolling back to an earlier version of the View agent could solve your problem..... have you had oppertunity to try this?

Hmmm.....That sounds like a good idea.......Wish I'd thought of that....
