I am running VMware View 4 and using the RDP Protocol to connect to a Windows 7 VM Pool. My users don't have the option to reboot their VM. Is this normal? Do I have a Group Policy somewhere preventing this (I've looked - don't see one). The only options they have are Log Off, Lock and Disconnect
Any ideas?
Thank you in advance for your help.
what about if they press CTRL-ALT-Delete, (or CTRL-ALT-INS)
then in the lower right corner you should see the ability to reboot or shutdown.

Yes. I can do it that way. Prefer not to. My users are a little.....
well... you know.
i understand
i think RDP disables the start button reset, because on windows XP it is also gone.
i have just told my users, this is how to do it from a thin client.

Wow... no I didn't select that option... didn't even notice it.
If I select that option now, will it affect the VM's I already have in
the pool? Or will it only affect NEW VM's I add to the pool?
you don't get the shutdown/reboot Button option using RDP. Only if you do the 3 finger salute mentioned above.
