VMware Tools error 2711

So i am trying to setup a golden VM for Horizon. For that i am creating an image. I am following this tutorial:

https://techzone.vmware.com/creating-optimized-windows-images-vmware-horizon-virtual-desktops#_30646...

I need to install the VMware Tools in the golden VM. So i mount the VMware Tools. Then they use this commmand to install the VMware Tools:

d:\setup64.exe /s /v" /qb REBOOT=R ADDLOCAL=ALL REMOVE=Hgfs,SVGA,VSS,AppDefense,NetworkIntrospection"

But when i use this command in the cmd I always get an error with the errorcode 2711.

I am using Windows 10 Pro as a guest OS.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I just had the same thing with Tools 12.1.0.

As per another link I found, the issue was that "AppDefense" doesn't seem to be a thing anymore.  I removed that item from my command line and the install then worked.
