VMware PCoIP Handling of Asymmetric Routing Patterns

I thought I would post this here to see if anyone could help me understand the affects of asymmetric routing patterns on VMware Horizon virtual machines communication over PCoIP.  An asymmetric routing pattern exists when the upstream and downstream traffic between two nodes takes two separate paths, one of which is typically longer than the other.

We're trying to improve performance in our Horizon environments. In looking at the networks they reside on we are seeing such patterns. However most all locations have good PCoIP stats (40-60ms) with zero RX/TX packet loss. Would addressing these conditions bear any noticeable improvement to our users?

Thanks in advance for your comments
