VMware Horizon View Server

Hi,

My Horizon view server 5.3.0 ws_TunnelService.exe is using ipv6 which i did not allowed.

i was wondering if i could disable it or is there another way to deal with it?.

i had tried disabling ipv6 parameter in windows registry but ws_TunnelService.exe is still using ipv6 traffic.

Hi all,

The issue can be resolve by editing Vmware registry -------------> JAVA_OPTS

Add in Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true

Hi,

What do you mean "which i did not allow" ?  Do you mean you told the installer to use IPv4 ?

Does the Windows server still have IPv6 active?  If so, why not disable that when you don't need it.

Oh " which i did not allow" was meant for disable the server IPV6 via registry.

After i installed VMware Horizon View, i still can see ws_tunnelservice.exe using ipv6 .

is there another way to configure the services not to use ipv6?
