VMware Horizon View Client URI's

Hello,

I am trying to figure out the appropriate way to bypass SSL checking or to set a URI to "Not warn when connecting to an unsecure connection", as the previous client would put it.

The URI is pointing to the server address with port 80 set, however for some reason it refuses to connect and just keeps giving an error: Error: An SSL error occurred. Usually this happens because it can't verify a certificate through the internet and will refuse to connect. However, on some of our other thin clients, we have it so that there is a connection point on the desktop it set to not to warn, and don't ping. Doing this on WES7, I figured I'd create a URI. No dice.

vmware-view://company.com:80/?desktopProtocol=PCOIP&desktopLayout=multimonitor&domainName=company

The above is the URI. Not sure what I'm supposed to do to fix this without using a proxy. It's been done connecting to this server. I just can't get it to work this way.

Thank you.

Hi RandomGuy23232,

The port 80 is for http, right? View client only support https enabled server and it doesn't related to URI, Could you please check it against https port, such as 443? Thanks.
