VMware Horizon Client Report Battery Information in the Guest

I have the battery options set to true on the VM under advanced options(chipset.useAcpiBattery and chipset.useApmBattery).

The battery devices show up in the Windows device manager. But windows still doesn't detect a battery.

Am I missing a setting somewhere or do I need to specify some extra setting for the VMware Horizon Client as well?

What Client versions and Horizon View version are in sue here? Thinking device redirection issue, though need the version information.

Does anyone know if this is a working feature in Horizon? I can't find any documentation supporting this outside for Fusion.

Asked the VMware Support a few monts ago, they told me to put a feature request as there is no solution for this yet.
