Hello, all
Normally using VMware Horizon Client in Windows and using the 'Log in as current user' option works fine. However, whenever we seem to use a banner message (or disclaimer/notice) right before the user logs on, the user has to enter their credentials a second time. If I disable the option and re-enable it, it seems to log the user on fine. However, if I exit out of the client and re-open, it asks for credentials again.
Product: VMware Horizon Client
Version: 2106
Build: 8.3.0 (18287501)
Is there any specific setting or document I can reference in regards to this issue? I only found this so far:

Secondly, I've noticed with the latest version of the client, if I disconnect from VM, the client itself seems non-responsive for a few seconds in Windows. Found that a little strange.
Thanks.
Are you using Unified Access Gateway as I have seen the issue with Login banner and UAG for external users.
Yes, we are actually! What have you seen or tried?
Thanks
What if you disable the banner completely ( for testing only) in the Horizon view and check. Are you able to produce the issue?
This doesn't solve the problem but could be a possible workaround if you don't already have this GPO configured.

Also, I don't think this applies to you but sometimes using DEM Horizon Smart Policies can cause problems with SSO. Test out disabling the Smart Policies or give the fix in this KB a try.
