VMWare View PowerCLI: Removing a VM from inventory

Hi guys,

Does any one know how to remove a VM from the VMWare View inventory and/or from disk (by script) ?

Unfortunately, there is no Remove-VM cmdlet provided by View PowerCLI ; IMO it's a big lack.

If someone knows which element to remove directly in the AD LDS, please let me know.

I am speaking about "View PowerCLI", the cmdlets for View Administration, not just "PowerCLI".

Thanks Sivaprasad for your reply.

Do you think it's safe to remove entries directly from "OU=Servers,DC=vdi,DC=vmware,DC=int" ?

Don't you think there are any dependencies elsewhere ?

Best,

These are adam containers, and you need to be careful if you are removing directly. There are chances that other depended components having a reference to those entries. In such case you might have to remove such stale referances. (for example view composer database refrances)
