can someone please point me in the direction of some instructions how to accomplish this please?

if someone can give me some pointers on what todo assuming that i have only 1 free server that has NO operating system on it. as i am in the middle of downloading 3 500mb files and am not really sure what is for what or how to get it going....

thanks in advance

Kris

If you already have an exisiting ESX host setup you will simply need to create a guest VM to server as the connection broker and then a guest VM to serve as the virtual desktop. You can use Windows 2003 on the connection broker and Vista/XP for the desktops. I have attached a link to the installation manual for installing and seting up VDM. I have also attached a link to a download page that should allow you to download a evaluation copy of VDM 2.1. I hope this helps

Hi,

Start with Intro doc at http://vmware.com/pdf/vdm20_intro.pdf to understand the overall architecture and then (as posted above) go to http://vmware.com/pdf/vdm21_manual.pdf

This should explain everything you need to know (and more!).

Mark.
