VMWare Horizon Client disconnects after exactly 1 hour of logon

I have several externally connected users reporting that when logging into the VMWare Horizon Client app that in exactly 1 hour they either are getting tunnel error or getting disconnected from their logon session.

I have no answer. The virtual machine they are connected to is not affected. Only their connection to it.

This happened for me as well. However, if I am logged on to my organizations network, VPN or internal network, no disconnects.

We have a VMWare Service Request in for now, # 23438443306

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Check your logs on the client and or Broker. This might help: PCoIP Disconnection Codes (2012101) (vmware.com)

Thanks but unfortunately, we were aware of these logs and have sent them to VMWare support but as of now, have not heard from them about these logs.

Are you using UAGs between your external users and the Horizon Connection servers?

Do you have a load balancer in the environment?  If so, where?

Thank you. We are sending connection and security server logs to VMWare for review.

We have discussed this with VMWare. We are not using UAG's.  I'm not sure if this will be set up. We did discuss this with VMWare Engineers.

What is the connection server version, Horizon agent version, and the Horizon client version? I've seen this in the past when using 7.13.1 connection server/agent version (Log4J patched version) and very old versions of the Horizon client, possibly 5.3 or 5.4 branch. We had to downgrade to 7.13 and remediate using the batch file VMware provided.

I'm experiencing a similar issue, horizon 8.x - remote users only. Did you find a resolution?

We have not found a resolution as of yet. We believe it may have to do with the load balancer, F5.

What are you experiencing exactly?

This is the link to the issue we think may be the cause...

My organization is on Vers 7.

internal users experience no issues. Remote users going thru lb  -> UAGs-> connection servers experience  a black screen for a couple of seconds(varies), then the vdi session comes back. happening every 60 minutes.  Our LB's are avi /nsx. Have sr's open with horizon and nsx right now.

Does your load balancer have a persistence setting for 36000 seconds? (Recommended by f5)

Nothing in our load balancer (vmware AVI) but this ended up being the cause of our similar problem. Once we disabled the option in our FW, we've not had any more disconnects -

Thank you all for your help and support on this issue.

We finally found our answer and it was an internal issue. It was a Cisco Bug, CSCvz55395. See this link:

https://quickview.cloudapps.cisco.com/quickview/bug/CSCvz55395

We had to upgrade our Firewall software from 7.0.1.1 to 7.2.5 version. This resolved the disconnects after 1 hour of logging on.
