VM with unsupported Guest OS

Hello people,

when I am creating a pool in Vmware View 5, I get to the selecting template section however, my template shows this message: VM with unsupported Guest OS, it is an ubuntu 12.04, seems like it is not supported, however I would like to get a document where I can see what OS's are supported or if there is a workaround.

as usuall in this kind of forums, thanks in advance for taking the time to answer.

Linux OS's are not supported in View as a Guest.  Only Windows guests

the only folks that have information about future releases is VMware. Unfortunately, the won't comment on any future plans.
