VDM dual screen capabilities

I am running dual monitors at my company. This enables end users to have mulitple applications open and viewable at the same time. I have successfully installed VDM in my environment and I have 3 virtual desktops running on it. When logging on, I see the option to open the session using multiple monitors, however this function only opens the virtual desktop sessions across both screens as one big centered window that is split between two monitors. I need the ability to see two full screens with one being an extension of the desktop. Does anyone have any advise?

In the VDI / SBC space this is refered to true multimonitor. This is a limitation of RDP. RDP only spans displays. It does not offer a true multimonitor experiance like a workstation. There are several third party tools you can add to the virtual desktops to acheive this. On th software side tou can use

Splitview or iShadow

On the hardware side you can use WYSE multimonitor capable thin clients with their TCX software.
