VDM Web Access through VPN

I am currently working on a large VDI deployment using VMWare's VDM as the broker. As part of the deployment, I need to be able to allow people to access VDM through our Firepass SSL VPN device. I was curious if anyone else had tried this and was successful. I have gotten all the way to the point where I try and connect to the desktop, but when the VDM client launches, it just displays a white screen, then closes. I think this might be some sort of port issue, so I'm working with F5 on it also. Just thought if anyone else here had done it, that would be better information. Thanks in advance!

In my experience the white screen has usually been a failure to communicate over 3389. You should verify that you can telnet to port 3389 of the guest VM you are connecting to from your desktop or the connection broker. That will depend on if you set direct or indirect connection settings in the connection broker

Hi,

I'm having exactly the same issue, just a white screen, I tested the connection from the secure server to the desktop on port 3389 and it works fine.. Did you fix the problem?

Thanks

Andres
