VDI and AD syncronization

Hello,

I am currently working on a POC in a customer 's enviornment.

I have deployed succesfully All the thing ( View manager, Xp desktop) with the integration with VC and Active directory of customer's current enviornment. I am facing a very strange issue currently.

- While configuring entitelment I am unable to view any user or group of the Active direcoty and same thing is happening when i am trying to add users in Administrators in configurations.

- I have installed view agent on windows XP, after doing all the normal steps it is still showing " Waiting for Agent"

steps done:

- I have reinstall the View manager

- I have assign the rights on the service with the domain admin user to start

- reinstall view Agent on windows XP

- No firewall is enabled

- gpo templates are already copied

service restart and reinstall type workings are already done.

  • one strange bevaior i have obeserved that VDM server is part of domain but when i tried to start view connection server's service by using domain admin user it gives me some objects errors. but when i entered same users followed by the domain name (domain-name\domain adminuser). service successfuly got that user.

please do let me know how can i get rid of this issue

Regards,

Kaashif

A few thoughts:

1. local firewalls? Are there any on any of the hosts?

2. Do you have both forward and reverse lookup?

3. Is the domain a child domain or part of a forest? If so, do you have reverse and forward lookup?

4. Cna you deploy a VM and test a direct RDP connection to see if that works?

4. Yes I can RDP to the VM
