VDI Deployment Advice

Hi,

I'm looking for some advice on the best way to setup a template then a desktop pool to achieve the following:

VM must automatically logon as a specified user once created, I'm having problems with this just now as sysprep is removing my registry entries that achieve this.

Each VM to return to original state after either logout or shutdown (if shutdown then the client must automatically reconnect). This is to be used for public access internet kiosks.

Any advice or pointers to documentation showing how to achieve this will be appreciated.

when configuring Sysprep there is a section that allows you to insert command post deployment. create a VBS or a Batch script with the desired Registry entries in and add it to that section,
