Same here!

So I followed along in the lovely Beta directions, created all the happy little items in VC and VDM, ensured that the vm is available, active and entitled, made sure my user was the entitled user.

and kablam - I get this error message:

Open desktop failed. VDM Server failed to launch session.

So I try it via web page:

Error launching desktop

Unable to allocate new session. No guests responded or all are overloaded.

boy is that confusing

I've been playing with VDM this week... So far my experiences have been pretty favourable... I've too had the "Error launching desktop. Unable to allocate new session. No guests responded or all are overloaded." message. I found I got this message if I logged in with an account with low privileges (no admin rights what so ever - anywhere)... However, when I logged in my admin account (used for both VC and VDM) the error message went away.

The only difference was the user account I used...

This seems to suggest that it isn't a performance issue at all .i.e "overloaded". But in fact so some kind of user privelege issue?

Incidentally, I didn't resolve this issue...
