VDI Bot - Auto Test Desktop Login + Get Environment Health

Hey all, Version 3.0 has been developed.

Features:

1- Bot attempts to login to Horizon View and retrieve desktop pool names, VDI states and connection servers.

2- Bot has the ability to login to an actual VDI desktop in the background (silently). Any failure results in an alerting process with given parameters.

3- Bot runs a health check on the selected servers.

4- Bot alerts if specific criteria returns true (for example, the number of available desktops).

5- Bot repeats selected functions on an interval set by the user and only alerts on errors.

Any suggestions are welcome. I am working on compiling the script and will provide a generic version for testing/feedback.

Thanks!

I think many people would like to see this, I suggest sharing it on GITHub or something similar, would be a good place to store it and collaborate if that's something you wanted to do.

This has been developed as part of a monitoring and alerting bot. One feature is the bot will actually launch Horizon and attempt to login to a specific desktop, and alert if that fails. Here's a preview: https://youtu.be/QMFjWvFne-E  - And here's the URL: https://rtechservices.co/vdibot/  Thanks!
