VC and VDM on a SBS Box

Hello

I wonder if someone could help me on a answer to a question. We're looking into installing a SBS virtual machine and to make it a complete ‘In a box' solution could Virtual Center (sorry, VCenter) and VDM be installed on the same SBS machine? I know from a DR point of view it's not too clever to have the VC and VDM on the same machine as each other but it's something which would be very helpful to us to do.

The VDM documentation says it requires a dedicated physical or virtual machine. That's not to say it won't work but VMware does recommend the dedicated machine. If you decide to move forward you may want to change the ports around for the VDM so you don't run into port conflicts with VC

I read that as well, which caused me to question it. Has anyone out there actually tried it?
