Using Windows Datacenter licenses for VDI

Hi,

I'd like to know if I could apply the Windows Datacenter Licensing model we use for our ESX servers hosting Virtual Servers to our VDI ESX servers?

Meaning, can I apply 2 x Datacenter Licenses (dual socket host) to our 150 VDIs (windows 7) running on the host?

Seems it might be more cost effect way to license.

Datacenter licenses are only available for server workloads. For client workloads there are other licensing models available (like VECD - "Virtual Enterprise Centralized Desktop")
