User data disc "leak"

Hello,

I have a problem regarding View 4, persistant linked clones desktop and user data discs.

When recomposing the master image, some files are deleted from the user data disc, e.g. the Local Setting --> Application Data --> Microsoft --> Outlook --> offline.ost

That means that every time recomposing the image, Outlook need to download whole data before it's able being used. Does anybody has a clue avoiding this problem? Also all thinreg'ed applications are unreg'ed and need to be registered again.

Thank you very much in advance!

Sebastian

Hello again,

problem with Outlook is solved via group policy, but I have still the problem that after a recompose all thinreg'ed apps are not registered anymore and need to get thinreg'ed again. Is this a normal behaviour?

Thanks!

Hello,

if I remember correctly you can specify a post-quickprep script (which is called after recomposition).

There you can call thinreg.exe to re-register the Thin Apps...
