User-based USB redirection GPO

Hi all,

i want to allow redirection of some devices only to a specific group of users. I want to do this by using GPO and a AD filter group. But the needed USB policies are all computer based. So how do you solve this, that only specific users can use specific usb devices?

Hi, Kevin -san.

Your perception is correct.
You can only control the USB vid , pid by computer.

Since you cannot control USB vid , pid redirection on a per user basis, it is easier to create a separate desktop pool and enumerate the vid,pid of USB devices that you allow.

This is not an option.
