Use View 5.0 to Create XP VDI

We have installed view 5.0 ,and been successful to create Win7 VDI.

We can use view client to login in Win7 Machine.

But,we have a problem to deloy XP, does someone know how to deploy XP VDI perfectly?

There is error like this

ERROR:  View Composer agent initialization state error (18): Failed to join the domain (waited XXX seconds)

and I have checked this vmware KB,and try to patch XP OS to newest hotfix .

But it's still not working.

I am thinking I might do some wrong thing when setting xp os environment,like sysprep,display drver ,ad domain..etc.

Does someone succeed to deloy XP on View 5.0? or any recommandations?

Have you tried changing the format of the user name which the computer uses to connects to the domain.

E.G. try username@domain.com and NOT domain\username

I finally know the problem is  I use Win2k8 R2 AD,so if I want to create XP VDI,and do sysprep to join domain,that will fail. Because XP can't be compatible with Win2k8 R2 Domain Controller by default , I have to modify register key on  Win2k8 R2 Domain Controller.
