We have all ESX and ESXi 4.1 hosts and just got a new ESXi 5 host. Now we need to upgrade vCetner server to version 5 to be able to manage the new host. I know vCenter 5 will manage 4.1 hosts but is there anything I need to watch out for when it comes to the host that holds the View VMs or the View 4.6 server VM itself?
According to the comapbility matrix View 4.6 is not supported running on vSphere or vCenter 5.

Good call on looking at the compatability matrix. I guess we will have to upgrade to View 5 before upgrading to vCenter 5. Is that a straight upgrade or is it more involved?
I have always found the View upgrades to be pretty straightt forward.
Have you done a 4.x to a 5.x? And did everything work afterwards or did you have to do some tweaking?
I've upgraded from version 2 all the way to 5.0 and never experienced any problems. I think if you read all the upgrade documentation and follow backup procedures you will be fine.
It sounds like it should be pretty simple. I just contacted Teradici about our Apex 2800 server offload card so hopefully there are no issues with that and we should be good to go. Thanks for the help!
