Upgrading VMware Horizon View from 5.3.0v to 6.1.1v

Hello everybody,

We have VMware View Infrastructure and we have cloned it to create a pre-production environment (identical to production).

Just beginning upgrading VMware View Composer (we have separated servers for BD with SQL Server 2012 and View Composer Server). Now, we cannot use AD credentials for DSN, so we have created a SQL local user (with owner permissions) to create a new DSN.

Is the sql account configured in the DSN the same account that's configured as dbo on the Composer database?

Also, check out this article regarding certificates.  I've had this issue happen to me mid-upgrade while upgrading in an isolated environment.  The fix is included.

I solved it disabling checking root certificates on Computer Configuration
