Upgrade composer 2.6 to 3.0

Hi boys

I need upgrade my  composer from 2.6 to 3.0, now composer is active on windows 2003 server with vcenter server.  My view connection server is 5.0

I have moved the composer db on windows 2008 sql.

It is possible move the composer, separatly from vcenter, on new window 2008 R2 server with new ip address and hostname?

I have read the vmware view upgrade 4.6, but i have big problem for identify where i need configure the view connection to talk to new location of composer .....

Thank

Fabio

Composer information is configured on the View admin page under servers, vCenter, edit vCenter server listed, and then click edit on the View Composer Server settings.   In that screen there will be a selection for a stand alone composer server.

IIRC the option to run View Composer on a separate system was added with View 5.1.

a. p. is correct.

Standalone composer is supported starting from View 5.1.

Upgrading to a newer version of View should not be a problem to support what you are intending to do.
