Unstable Application in RDSH Farms

VMware Horizon View 7.2

Server 2016 RDSH

Manually Installed Applications

HTML Access and Horizon Client

Has anyone had issues with manually installed applications becoming unstable.  They will run fine for a awhile and then start receiving uncommon errors on application and lock up.  If it isn't a windows based application it just doesn't seem to run right.  I have gone by all the requirements according to the vendor installation specifications, but something always seems to break.  I am curious if this is VMware RDSH session issues and maybe move these users over to a VMware desktop that seems to be more stable.  Any similar issues with anyone else?

Appreciate any advice.

Thanks,

We had some thing similar where users were complaining about disconnection of session and application not available. Opened a support case and they informed to update the VMtools to 10.1.15 and view agent to 7.3.2.After doing that we did not have any issues of application not available or disconnection in session.

Our Environment is

Horizon 7.2

RDSH hosts 2012 with app volumes integration

vSphere 6.5

Hope this helps

Thanks for your input.

We will be upgrading to Horizon 7.4 soon (tech support believes this will fix another error we receive on our RDSH applications)

That may be the fix then for stability issue as well.

Cheers!
