University: Run Windows and Linux Desktops

Hi, we're an university and want access to virtual desktops based on Windows and Linux (on demand) from Thin Clients (ideally from Wyse Thin OS). All documents I saw talk about Windows and RDP but how can we make linux desktops available to clients on demand (some students would access to windows, other to linux, ...)?

Thanks

Yes, I would suggest you look at LeoStream. You can use RDP to the Windows boxes or there is a XRDP server you can install into the Linux desktops. See this:

VMware product offering VDM only supports Windows guest operating systems XP and Vista, if you require multi-GuestOS support I would investigate LeoStream or Provisions VAS. alternatively, if you are good with linux have a look see at FreeNX a free opensource broker.
