Uninstall Replica properly (VMwareVDMDS)

Hello, I'm trying to uninstall the View Connection Replica server properly, so that the the VMwareVDMDS is properly cleared of the Replica instance.

I've tried removing on the Replica server, the View Server, the Adam Instance VMwareVDMDS and the Active Directory Application Mode Service Pack 1, but I still see references to the Replica Server in the View Server configuration page. Uninstallaing the Replica Server is not covered by the View 3.1 manual, nor did I find any other references on this forum.

Thanks for any pointer.

Erik

Well I guess, only when you ask the question, do you get a hint at how to solve it.

I've found out that using the vdmadmin.exe command line tool on the remaning server, can be used to remove the View Manager entry.

vdmadmin -S -r -s <viewmgr_to_be_removed>

It's best described in the Command Line Tool for View Manager (PDF)
