If I install one of them, media player is not working anymore.

I have to check all time I run Windows update.

Hello, what is the OS used une your linked clones ?

I had the same problem but with audio files, when trying to open using WMP it crashed all the time as it was working before.

I finaly found that some windows patches are responsible of that.

I soon I removed the guilty Windows patches the WMP was working fine.I have now a list of Windows patches not to install in order not having this problem.

Of course I have to check this each time I have new patches from Windows update.

I run Windows 8.1 Ent. on my linked clones.

Hope it helps

Regards.
