Unable to connect with vmware-view horizon client on Linux

Hello,

I'm trying to connect from a Linux Mint (version 18, based on Ubuntu Xenial) laptop but cannot get it. I managed to do it in the past (and other coworkers still are working with it) with older linux versions.

I'm trying with the Horizon client version 4.9.0 (latest) and 4.1.0 (the one that worked in the past), both x64.  I can configure everything till I get the icon of the connection I want to stablish. When I double click it, it makes a try and get back to the list of (one) possible servers to connect.  I had this same issue long time ago because I hadn't rdesktop installed (I prefer remmina for access but looks like I cannot choose it with Horizon client, don't mind).  I've tried with both rdesktop and xfreerdp, same behaviour.  Also tried with my user and with root user, no way. Also, disabling all bells and whistles (usb sharing, sound, video, shared folders... ), don't need it.
