Unable to connect to ADAM Database

Hello,

I use VMWare View Horizon 5.2 and Windows 2008 R2 Server.

My problem is that I need to connect to the ADAM Databse for troubleshooting purpose.

I have followed the step described in the article : Connecting to the View ADAM Database (2012377)

It dows not work.

"Operation failed. Error code: 0x80000500d

The directory property cannot be found in the cache"

Any help?

Thanks in advance.

Ok, I solved the issue.

I need to connect with a user that is a member of the AD View Administrator Group that I created for the installation.

The local Administrator user is not a member of this group.

Have you tried with  multiple users?   Do you have another CB that is a replication partner that you can try from?

Remember that you must run the ADSI edit application on the View Connection server? Also make sure that the VMwareVDMDS service is running.

Yes, I tried with multiple users. It looks that it is a permission issue.

If I use ldp.exe I can bind to localhost but I cannot browse the tree.

And Yes the service is up and running.
