USB storage device not recognized.

When you plug a USB storage device into the thin client, the VDI does not recognize it.

USB Permissions on M23 is set to allow.

The thin Client does see the USB device

New Lenovo M32

Thin Clint OS Windows embedded Standard 6.1.7601

VMware Horizon View Client ver 5.3.0 build 1042023

Connection is set to PCoIP

Also wanting to do multiple monitors but VDI does not recognize the second monitor. Thin Client does.

Additional background.

Currently using Dell fx170 with no problems.

Can access VDIs through VMware Horizon View Client on my laptop with no problems

Thanks

Andrew

do you see usb devices appear in the usb menu?  , or does the menu bar show "usb not available" (or some other similar comment)

on the thin client, is any other vdi client software installed - we have sometimes see conflicts between various vendors clients and their usb redirection.

Have some more findings on the USB issue.

In this view client, there is no usb info at the top of the window like on other view client. I tried to upgrade view client from the VM website but the M32 does not have a big enough drive space.

If I set the protocol within the veiw client to RDP, The USB shows up with no problem. The multiple monitors is still an issue.

The thin client does have other clients on it. I will clean it up and see if that makes a difference.
