USB Redirection issue in View 5.1

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to enable the USB redirection for the mass storage device in view 5.1 but don't know if I'm missing any configuration steps, It is not working. USB access is set to allow in View Manager on desktop Pool.

When I'm connecting to Windows XP 32BIT VDI from my local Windows XP 32BIT machine through client , Device is showing in the available list of connections. But when I'm connecting it in VDI, it is showing in Device manager but showing under other devices. I have tried all possible options to upgrade the USB drivers but no luck.

Can someone help me to get this resolved.

What protocol are you using to connect to your virtual desktop?  RDP or PCoIP?  If rdp try using pcoip.  You will get much better results.

Does it show up under disk management?  start, run, fsmgmt.msc

Hi,

I have tried all possible options given on the link but still thr USB drive is showing drivers issue in Win-XP and also not showing in disk mgmt as well.

However, when I'm connecting this drive in Windows 7 VDI , it is working fine.
