USB Redirection in VMware View 5.1 problem with multifunction device (printer and scanner)

HI all,

I have problem with, redirection USB  Multifunction device (printer adn scanner)  printer work but scanner no.  I have install driver  software for support. for device but nothing help.  i find  some link What’s New with USB Redirection in VMware View 5.1? | VMware End-User Computing Blog - VMware Blog

But i dont know how can use this support for  Printer with scanner.   have you some idea  how can resolve problem with scanner

I have  install agent 5.2.987719

now i testing on Printer HP m1522n

Hi,

First make sure there is no policy in Domain Controller preventing the scanner redirection. Then can you use lower version of view agent like 5.1 or 5.0 and see if this work. If this work the, raise support request with VMware.
