Dear Guys,
I have an issue with the URL content Redirection feature as it's not working as expected, and I need to figure out the steps which was done.
Using VMware Horizon 2212
1- installed the agent from the command line with <agent location > /v URL_FILTERING_ENABLED=1 ENABLE_UNC_REDIRECTION=1
2- Installed the client to the users PCs from the command line with <client location > /v URL_FILTERING_ENABLED=1 ENABLE_UNC_REDIRECTION=1
3- Installed GoogleChrome GPOs and VMware Horizon GPOs to the active directory.
4- From Horizon Users GPO > URL Redirection Enabled : Enabled
5- From Horizon Computers GPO > Installed Google Chrome extension: Enabled, which installed the required chrome extension to all computers including the RDSH Server.
5- From Google Chrome GPOs > Set Google chrome as the default browser.
That was all the steps I did as I need all the users connected to RDSH session while opening any internet links to be redirected to their local/client machine BUT not working. Still the links are opened in the RDSH machine instead-of the local machine as required.
So, Is there anything missing or need to be configured ?
