I have deployed UAG 3.9 at a customer for Horizon 7 remote access. This works fine for Windows and Mac devices but when I try to access a VDI desktop using the Horizon client on an iOS device, it disconnects as soon as you attempt to launch a desktop.
I replicated the same behaviour in my lab but as soon as I deployed a UAG 3.8 appliance with the same config imported from the original UAG 3.9 appliance, it worked without issue.
Has anyone experienced the same issue and managed to resolve this?
Actually the issue wasn’t anything to do with UAG versions but was because the Horizon client had PCoIP set as the preferred protocol, and this was not enabled on the UAG - only Blast was enabled.
Once Blast was selected as the preferred protocol, desktops launched ok
If it works for windows and mac and only fails for iOS devices, please check Invalid Certificate Warning in Android Horizon App helps.
This workaround is for android client, so you can try to replicate the issue with android client as well and try the workaround given.
