Hi all!
I have two sites each with one cluster containing six hosts each - both managed by a single VCA with HA enabled (primary on site A, secondary on B, witness on standalone). The clusters themselves are HA enabled as well.
Now I want to install a CPA on that with site A being a pod and site b being another pod in the same pod federation. Both pods should serve the same desktops pools to the same users, so both bots in general should hold the same configuration, pools, golden images etc.
How do I replicate all data between those two without having to manage any configuration or image changes on both sides?
Thanks a lot in advance and best regards,
Oliver
Hi Oliver,
Each pod is considered a separate entity. You use global entitlements to tie the pools together in each pod. You need to use some type of storage replication if you want to keep images in-sync.
I suggest you review the below. It is an invaluable resource for CPA particularly when you are planning Active-Active VDI.

What are you planning to replicate? Below are the few choices.
Whitepaper discusses various other design consideration. Please read thoroughly. If you follow it, you won't need any external help.
one of the question i asked in this forum is to understand if a standard pool can be converted into CPA pool. I haven't go a reliable answer
