Tranform workstations to thin clients

Hi,

we are using VMware View 3.1. Our physical devices are workstations and we would like to transform them as "thin clients".

The goal is to boot the workstation with an OS that needs a little management, is compatible with USB redirection and automatically starts the View client.

The perfect situation would be to boot on network, download an image, boot it and load View client.

Do you have an idea ?

take a look to http://anywherets.com/ . it will give you a hint about creating your own Thin Client (it seems to be out of business but you could still download the bits

also consider to add VMware View Open Client : http://code.google.com/p/vmware-view-open-client/ (you can add it to any distribution you desire)

My big issue is that I need USB redirection be supported.
